Due to the fact that it’s a very restrictive diet, apple diet should be used for a short time. Its main purpose is to cleanse the body and prepare it for another diet, this time an eliminating one. During this diet, we eat only apples and drink water, which is extremely important because we also cleanse the body of toxins. You should always consult your doctor before such treatment, because if we have any shortages or problems with sugar, it’s not recommended for us. It’s best to perform blood tests before doing it to rule out this possibility. It’s only intended for adults, because children and adolescents need more energy and vitamins for proper development, and this even a short diet may have a bad influence on this process.
Apple diet – rules
As the name suggests, this way of eating focuses primarily on the use of apples in the diet. It should be consumed several dozen minutes before the main meal, because thanks to the content of pectin, they improve the digestive processes.
In addition to apples and a small amount of other products (such as dairy products, fish, lean meat and groats), we are allowed to drink unsweetened green and fruity teas. It’s not recommended to consume coffee, because due to the caffeine content it may disrupt the body cleansing process and cause irritation of the stomach walls. For the supporters of this drink, who cannot completely eliminate it from the diet, it’s recommended to exchange traditional coffee for this decaffeinated or groats.
If we can go with a 100% apple diet, it should last a maximum of three days. Mixed diet, where in addition to apples we will eat lean protein and vegetables can last for 5 days.
Apples are fruits that contain huge amounts of vitamins, including vitamin C, but also minerals – zinc or iron. They are also a rich source of dietary fibre, which helps in digesting foods and makes us feel longer fed.

During this type of nutrition, we provide the body with the excretion of metabolites, as well as excess water. The swellings that have been created earlier will also decrease, and we will feel lighter.
Deciding to use this type of diet, determination and patience are necessary. During the course of the detox, it’s impossible to break the cycle, because it will not bring the desired effects, and also does not make our body properly adapted to carry out a weight loss diet later.
