Whereas people that are required to take insulin, suffer from type 1 diabetes. That’s an advanced degree of diabetes and the diet becomes very radical. Diabetes can cause serious issues with your circulatory system. Together with high sugar comes high blood pressure. That in turn can cause heart disorders and atherosclerotic lesions in your veins. A diet for a diabetic means getting rid of everything that contains sugar. It also means giving up certain fruits or limiting their intake. Fruits such as bananas, grapes and dried fruits contain a lot of sugar.
Diabetologists developed a few rules that help decrease the effects and symptoms of diabetes. They are mainly relying on limiting the amount of blood sugar levels. Its concentration depends on the patients’ frame of mind. Firstly, they should take care of their weight. Obesity contributes to high blood sugar levels. On a diabetic diet, meals should be eaten often, even 6 times a day, at regular intervals.
First meal right after waking up, last meal four hours before going to sleep. Meals have to be easy to digest. It’s forbidden to eat greasy or fried foods.

You’re allowed to drink non sparkly water, unsweetened tea and herbal teas.
With diabetes it’s also important to live an active life, walk a lot, riding a bicycle is recommended, as well as swimming in the pool or usual, easy exercises. That depends on the age of the patient.
