The lemon diet involves complete cleansing of the body. Lemon has many ingredients that will certainly help us. Certainly many people remember that in the morning – before eating – it’s recommended to drink mineral water with lemon. This diet is based on this idea. However, this is not about fasting, but about cleaning up toxins, including harmful heavy metals. During this detox, we only eat natural and unprocessed products. It’s worth drinking a lot during the whole process. It does not have to be just water – you can drink lemonade, herbal infusions and green tea.
What is the lemon diet?
The diet lasts equally 10 days and is only a preparation for a reduction diet. This will help us lose weight faster and feel lighter. Every day we add one lemon up to 5 lemons a day (on the fifth day) to the menu. After the fifth day, we also reduce their number by one. In this way, we “leave” the lemon diet to go on a different style of nutrition.
Of course, we do not eat lemons in their entirety. Squeeze the lemon and mix the juice with mineral water. You can add honey, but you should not use white sugar, which, as you know, has negative properties. Honey is bactericidal and affects our well-being. It’s recommended especially in winter and autumn.
There is also a twelve-day version of this diet. Then we start a diet of 5 lemons, increasing the number of lemons by five each day. We drink the same solution as in the case of a ten-day diet.
In both cases, we drink it 30 minutes before and after a meal, 3 to 5 times a day.
When to go on this diet?
Lemon diet is especially recommended if we need to cleanse the body of toxins, while supporting the treatment of kidney stones or osteoporosis, as well as to increase immunity in the autumn and winter.
What effects can you achieve?
In addition to cleansing the body and losing weight (by even one size), you will look younger and reduce your appetite. In addition, you will improve the appearance of the teeth, make the development of periodontitis difficult and cure the scalp from any ailments, such as dandruff.
