Artichoke diet

Artichokes are very healthy and make it easier to lose weight. For this reason, an artichoke diet was created, whose menu is based precisely on this vegetable. However, eating artichoke alone will not make us slimmer. The combination of this product with a balanced menu gives the desired results.

Why artichokes?

Artichokes have been used for hundreds of years in all kitchens around the world. They contain many important nutrients, including inulin, thanks to which carbohydrates are digested much slower. It’s an ideal product for diabetics who have to deal with fluctuations in sugar. They have a huge amount of fibre, thanks to which we feel fuller, even after a not-too-abundant meal. They also accelerate digestion and eliminate constipation. In addition, artichokes contain a compound called cynarin. It’s a substance that stimulates the secretion of bile in the body. We accelerate fat digestion this way. Due to the fact that these vegetables are diuretic, we can get rid of excess water from the body. They have only 22 kcal in 100 g. They also show activity based on the strengthening and purification of the liver and kidneys, as well as reduce the level of LDL cholesterol, which prevents atherosclerosis.

What is the artichoke diet?

It’s recommended to drink an infusion of artichoke for at least 10 days. It’s best to eat it after meals, because it effectively supports digestion. Of course, we focus on eating fresh vegetables and fruits as well as wholesome carbohydrates and proteins. We deliver protein thanks to lean meats and fish. Fat is equally important and we add it in the form of olive oil and linseed oil, which also helps in the proper functioning of our body. It’s also important to match your lifestyle and interests – exercises. If we like quiet training, we can go for swimming, yoga or spine exercises.

What are the positives of the artichoke diet?

The use of artichoke diet will help remove toxins from the body and too much water that can cause bloating. Thanks to it, we can feel lighter, get rid of the feeling of a bloated stomach.
