For many, the word chocolate is salutary. Most of us love it, for most it’s the best that we can serve our taste buds. However, when it comes to weight loss, it’s definitely not the best choice to be able to lose excess weight. Do we have to give it up, however? Absolutely not – you just need to know what to choose and what to bet on.
For chocolate to appear on our menu, we can choose two options – choose dark chocolate and make it yourself based on healthy ingredients. What do you choose?
What is worth knowing about dark chocolate?
Dark chocolate is extremely healthy and has a positive effect on many health aspects for our body. However, you should remember that it’s caloric, therefore we cannot eat it at will, but if we eat it in the right amounts, it will guarantee us more benefit than harm. What tasks does dark chocolate fulfill? It suppresses the appetite for sweets, fatty foods and salty snacks.
Even one cube of chocolate significantly affects the acceleration of metabolism, including better fat burning. In the weight loss diet, it should take its place as much as possible. dark chocolate is a very good choice because it speeds up metabolism, improves blood circulation, affects the nervous system, and also inhibits the aging process of the body, because it has strong antioxidant properties. What’s more, it inhibits the appetite for other, unhealthy things, reduces stress, increases the production of happiness hormones, and also reduces the accumulation of fat around the waist and belly.
Of course, not every chocolate is created equal, which is why we should make every effort to reach for only those products that come from the top shelf. Good quality dark chocolate contains, among others, cocoa, fats as well as sugar. If it contains milk or fructose-glucose syrup, it’s not a good idea to eat it during weight loss. A good quality dark chocolate is minimum 70% cocoa, but of course the best will be the one that’s 90 – 99%. This chocolate does not cause harm to our teeth, it dissolves perfectly in the mouth and is really delicious. However, let’s not fill the whole plate because it won’t work for good. Six cubes a day is absolutely enough!
The second option, which is also a great solution for people who like chocolate, but are on a diet is home-made chocolate. It’s not difficult at all to prepare, and it has definitely less calories and has all the best in its composition. Chocolates sweetened with xylitol or stevia are the possibility of eating something sweet, which can be our fit option. These chocolates are made with coconut oil or natural cocoa fat.
If we want to get something sweet, definitely healthy chocolate is a good choice, even if we are on a reduction diet. You can choose dark chocolate or one without sugar, which you can make yourself or buy in a health food store. And here the question arises – who said that weight loss must be a torment? 😉
