Does the conscious future mother eat what they want?

From the earliest weeks of pregnancy, you should give up the consumption of certain products that may harm your health and lead to impaired development of your child.

Prior to planned pregnancy and during pregnancy, exclude liver from intake. Not only because of the high content of cholesterol in this product, but also the excessive supply of vitamin A, which excess adversely affects the development of the child’s nervous system.

Quit consumption of the following fats lard, cream, butter. It is inadvisable to eat fatty meats and cold meats and large amounts of fatty cheese.

To prevent excessive weight gain, exclude sweets from consumption. Most ready-made confectionery such as biscuits, cookies, fondants, crackers, chocolate, bars contains harmful trans isomers.

You should also not eat fast-food products, crisps, ready meals because they contain artificial colors, preservatives, flavor enhancers, large amounts of sodium and phosphorus compounds.

Avoid salting dishes! Large salt intake can cause the development of hypertension and edema. For the same reason do not reach for salty snacks (peanuts, crackers, sticks).

Limit drinking strong coffee and tea – they increase the pressure and stimulate the work of muscles, including the muscles of the uterus, which can cause premature birth. A maximum of one weak coffee per day is allowed.

It is forbidden to consume alcohol in any amount and form (beer, wine, tinctures, etc.).

Do not drink sweetened beverages and carbonated drinks (Coca Cola, Fanta, etc.). Coca Cola is particularly undesirable because it contains a lot of caffeine and phosphates that impair the absorption of calcium.

It is also important to prepare the dishes properly. Cooking techniques allowed, cooking, steaming, grilling, baking without fat in foil or sleeve. Deep fried foods are not recommended.

Limit the intake of spicy, spicy, bloating foods (brassica, onion, leguminous vegetables), they are hard to digest, cause discomfort on the part of the digestive tract.

To reduce the risk of food poisoning, it is forbidden to eat blue cheese (risk of listeriosis infection), raw meat and raw fish (may cause toxoplasmosis), undercooked eggs and undercooked poultry (the possibility of salmonella infection).

Tuna and salmon should also be avoided because their consumption increases the risk of mercury and dioxin poisoning.
