Most of us complain about our figure. Hips too wide, stomach folds, or too big of a butt. For women, one of the biggest problems is certainly the protruding belly, as well as the sides, which are difficult to lose and it’s difficult to fight with them.
Many people would like to get rid of fat from the abdominal area or the tummy, but it can’t be done. There is no local burning, there is no miracle method, there is no way to get a flat stomach and no belly, without changing the appearance of the whole body, without changing eating habits or exercise – not only on the stomach, but on the whole body. So what to do to get the effect we care about?
Let’s start from the beginning. What is the weight loss process? What is he about? Simply put, it’s a catabolic process, and thus decay. For this to happen, we must eat less calories than our body needs, so that it draws energy from fat, thereby burning it. Of course, you can’t just be starving yourself, because then there will be no where to get this strength from and you will feel terrible. It’s enough to reduce the caloric balance to start noticing the first effects in a relatively short time. If we add physical activity to it, we will start to burn calories, and this in a special way will allow us to get the best possible results, as we like them.
Examples of catabolism are, for example, lipolysis, glycolysis, as well as protein catabolism, fermentation, or even the citric acid cycle. In this article, we will focus on lipolysis, i.e. the breakdown of adipose tissue, which leads to a reduction in its volume and thus a better look.
Is lipolysis of one body part possible?
No, because the distribution of adipose tissue is holistic and not selective, and this means that the adipose tissue is distributed in the same way throughout the body and in the same way it’s completely distributed, and the person loses weight. Even if we have beautiful breasts and a firm, shapely ass and slender legs, and we fight with the belly and sides, we will lose weight all over the body, and not only in these sensitive places. Of course, in one person, the increase in body fat will be the largest on the abdomen, on the other on the hips, and different in others. In the same way when losing weight, one woman loses weight faster, the other slower and in each case this process of losing weight looks completely different. A lot depends on our genetics, conditions as well as our predispositions.
So how do you get rid of the belly fat?
Since you can’t only get rid of fat from a particular body part, what should you do? First of all, you should bet on a healthy plate, so we choose a balanced, full-fledged and colourful diet, thanks to which we will focus on providing the body with the best, and we will guarantee it enough calories to provide us with a negative calorie balance and at the same time loss kilograms. The second element is definitely physical activity, so we should focus on exercise in our lives. It’s not necessary to do crunches, because it does not specifically affect how quickly this fat tissue will decrease. Of course, it’s worth doing exercises for the stomach to strengthen it, but only through cardio and general development training you can lose any amount of body fat from any part of the body, which we simply need. It’s worth taking care to stimulate catabolism even more, and also to improve the overall metabolism. Is that enough? In addition to a large dose of patience – yes.
Unfortunately, fat in the abdominal area is the most resistant and usually fights the longest. While the fat will come off our legs, butt or arms, it stays on the stomach and sides for the longest time. However, it’s worth doing your own thing, moving forward and not giving up, and certainly sooner or later you will notice significant effects.
