Nuts in the diet are extremely important and valuable and everyone should have them. There are many varieties of them, which means that everyone can find their type, depending on what our taste buds like. Some nuts can be grown in Poland, such as Italian, others mature in different climatic conditions, but we can easily find them on store shelves.
Types of nuts and their precious properties
There are many types of nuts available on the market. The most popular are walnuts, which grow in Poland. They have very large amounts of magnesium, which positively affects our nerve cells. The next ones are hazelnuts, also grown on Polish lands. They have very large amounts of B vitamins, iron as well as phosphorus. Next are pistachios, which are grown primarily in Asia. You can add them to salads and meat dishes, but eaten in pure form, for many also constitute a great delicacy in itself. Another very valuable one are cashews from South America.
They are excellent in taste, and most importantly, they have healthy fatty acids that work on the heart and circulatory system. It’s hard not to pay attention to Brazil nuts, which grow in the Amazonian forest. They are large and include mainly selenium, which affects the work of the heart, the nervous system, as well as the excellent condition of our skin. And who does not know pecan nuts from South America? Less known, but very much appreciated by many. They have numerous vitamins, including B, C, E, K, as well as iron, magnesium and calcium. And at the end of the extremely valuable – macadamia nuts from Australia, which are ideal antioxidants that protect our body against the effects of free radicals, affect the work of the heart and lowering bad cholesterol.
Depending on what nuts we like we can introduce each of them into our daily diet, of course remembering that the nuts have calories, and when it comes to weight loss they must be properly counted, and so only we should only eat a small amount of nuts to provide what’s the most valuable. Can nuts and weight loss go hand in hand with each other? Of course, in the right amount, because they provide us with very healthy fats that our body needs to live even in small amounts. Nuts, when losing weight, are therefore a noteworthy addition in the diet, but used with moderation and common sense.
