  1. Not every fat is terrible

Fats are a group of compounds that are very much needed in our body. In addition to those that affect the problems of the circulatory system, nature has also created fats, the lack of which can affect the body’s normal functioning. The essential unsaturated fatty acids are particularly important, to the group of acids of which are omega fatty acids.

Omega-3, -6 and -9 are fats that affect the rate of metabolism. They stimulate fat-degrading enzymes in subcutaneous tissues and blood vessels. They can be found in fish such as salmon, halibut, tuna, sardine, herring and some plants, such as linseed or avocado.

  1. The secret of vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 is contained in many food products, but the largest amounts can be found in yeast and whole grain bread. It affects the metabolic rate. This vitamin has the ability to activate closed energy in fat cells. It is also a component of coenzymes that are involved in the transformation of proteins, amino acids and fats. In addition to the listed products occurs in avocado, bran and soy.

  1. Iodine helpful in weight loss

Thyroid is an organ that has a very large impact on the speed of metabolism. This is due to the thyroxine, a hormone produced by the thyroid gland. If the body is deficient, metabolism slows down significantly.

Even small deviations from the normal amount of thyroxine produced cause problems with maintaining the correct weight. Iodine is essential for the synthesis of thyroxine, so it indirectly affects the metabolic rate. The source of iodine is sea fish, dried algae and watercress.

  1. Coffee is good for metabolism

Coffee is a drink that does not need special advertising. There are not many people who do not drink it. The caffeine contained in coffee acts on the central nervous system. It causes an increase in the number of heart beats, which in turn causes a faster breathing. Greater oxygenation of the body causes an acceleration of metabolism.

It has been proven that the metabolism of people who drink coffee is 16 percent faster than those who do not have caffeine in their body.

  1. Alcohol – the enemy of losing weight

Thinking about how to speed up the metabolism – you should think about what not to do so as not to slow it down. In this case, you definitely need to mention alcohol, which is not enough to accelerate metabolism, it slows it down. 2 bottles of beer or two drinks and fat burning drops by as much as 70 percent. This is because alcohol weighs on such organs as the liver or pancreas. That’s why before we decide to drink, let’s think about whether we really want it now.
