In recent times, the sugar-free diet has become very popular. It’s based on the fact that we eliminate simple sugar from the diet, putting on healthy meals, properly balanced and devoid of what destroys us and which significantly affects our appearance. However, it should be noted here that pure sugar is one thing – we eat much less of it than we used to. However, it also occurs in processed foods, which there are too many of everywhere around us. If we want to eliminate sugar from the diet, we must say bye to sweets, white sugar, and also the food that has sugar in its composition.

Many of us is associated weight loss with fasting, with a constant feeling of pain in the stomach, giving up everything! The truth is, however, that a diet should not look like that, because it’s a way of good eating and delivering to the body what is necessary and healthy. Sugar, sugar, sugar – it’s everywhere
According to data from the Central Statistical Office, in 2016, the monthly average sugar consumption per person is 1, 78 kilograms, which gives us almost 20 kg of „poison” per year. In addition to the excess in kilograms, sugars do not have anything that could positively affect our body. Because even if we have a momentary flow of pleasure, after a while it passes by. If we get rid of this sugar from the diet, then we will feel better automatically, we will gain more energy, we will be less sleepy and weakened, and the kilograms will start to drop like crazy. By eliminating sugars, you can completely bet on weight loss without a diet, because by eating other, nutritious meals, you do not have to limit yourself in eating, give up a variety of meals, because in fact the main culprit of everything is this terrible sugar.
What can you eat on a sugar-free diet?
In fact, everything that does not contain simple sugar. Same white sugar is one thing – many of us can give it up. Often thinking about a sugar-free diet, we also give up sweets, cakes and cookies. And that’s good! Unfortunately, in most cases we also forget that in other products this sugar is also found. So you should start reading the labels. If a white, brown, molasses or glucose-fructose syrup appears on the product, the product should be put back on the shelf as soon as possible. Carbohydrates are very important, because they give us energy, but these complex ones, which we find in coarse-grained groats, whole-grain bread, vegetables, as well as in legume seeds. The only simple sugars can be delivered to the body in the form of fruit, because they also contain sugar. We eat them in the right proportions and do not eat them after 4pm. So if you ask yourself what to eat if it comes to weight loss and changing habits, everything in the right amounts with the elimination of simple sugars!
What can the sugar diet contribute to?
The first thing to think about is excess weight. It is true that sugar significantly affects how we look, so if we care for the right figure, we should ensure that this sugar is not in the diet. However, sugar itself is not only a look but also a greater risk of tooth decay, diabetes, atherosclerosis, as well as cardiovascular disease. It is also a bad feeling, weakness of the body, reluctance to everything.
Summary
The less in our sugar diet – the better. And regardless of whether it is about weight loss for a holiday or lifestyle change throughout the year, we should treat sugar as our enemy, and in no case as a friend. Although we often think that a small candy bar can give us so much pleasure, the truth is that it is a pleasure only at this moment. So let us ask a question – is it worth it? Maybe when we feel weakness, feel like snacking on something or just hungry between meals, it’s worth to get some healthy snacks, such as nuts, vegetables or other such additions.
