The Hamptons Diet

The Hamptons Diet derives its name from the name of a New York mansion, and its author is Fred Pescatore. The principles of this method of weight loss are used by many Hollywood stars, which allows them to maintain a beautiful, slim figure. This type of diet consists primarily in reducing the amount of carbohydrates in the daily menu, as well as the inclusion of a few components in meals that have a significant impact on the weight loss process.

In the Hamptons diet, it’s extremely important to eat monounsaturated fats that significantly support weight loss. Macadamia nut oil, which contains many more of these healthy fats than other sources of this type, is used particularly often. This approach to fat products is quite a rare occurrence in various types of diets, because it’s believed that these ingredients can at most cause an increase in weight and accelerate the deposition of adipose tissue. This is not the right approach, because there are many healthy fats that not only do not contribute to the healing, but also greatly affect our health, strengthening the body and maintaining our youth.

The Hamptons diet – rules

The Hamptons diet rules are not complicated. The most important is the reduction of carbohydrates, because they have a fatal effect on our figure and cause the deposition of excessive fat. Their limitation is obviously not easy, because we find them in most products, however, it’s worth focusing on eliminating very sweet fruit, bread, pasta, fried dishes, highly processed meats and – above all – sweets, or sugar in any form.

Products that should be included in the diet in larger quantities are primarily fish, especially those rich in omega-3 fatty acids, such as salmon. In addition, we can also consume lean meat without remorse. The most important here is to provide the body with healthy fats, such as those from nuts.

The Hamptons diet is extremely satisfactory because you can eat products that are allowed at will, unless you exceed the recommended daily carbohydrate intake, which is estimated at around 40-65 grams. Any amount of fats is in principle acceptable here, assuming that they are monounsaturated fats found in oils, avocados, olives or in the aforementioned and, especially recommended, macadamia nuts. In addition, it’s worth reducing the daily supply of calories to around 1000-1200.

The Hamptons Diet is a safe way to lose weight because it does not exclude nutrients that are necessary for humans. The only sacrifice here are unhealthy products that do not serve our health and figure well, which is why their rejection does not pose a threat to health. With each diet, it can bring different effects, because it’s important how many carbohydrates we consume every day. If we usually eat a lot of them, this restriction will cause a significant weight loss in a short time. In addition, this type of diet will help us protect the body’s immunity and youth, because regular consumption of healthy monounsaturated fatty acids carries countless benefits with it.
